On 17 May 2025, the Aston Hill Centenary will celebrate the 100-year anniversary since the final Aston Hill Climb – a legendary hillclimb held between 1904 and 1925. The highlight of the day will be a recreation of the historic ascents, featuring period cars that once tackled the course. Owners of eligible machines are invited to take part in this commemorative run.
The event is a collaboration between Aston Clinton Parish Council, the Vintage Sports Car Club, and the Herts County Auto & Aero Club (HCAAC) – the very organisation that orchestrated Aston Hill’s original competitions. The date is symbolic: exactly 100 years after a planned HCAAC Open Hillclimb was cancelled due to the withdrawal of competition permits following an incident at Kop Hill.
With support from Ecurie Bertelli and Immun’Age, the Aston Hill Centenary promises a unique celebration of a motorsport landmark. For more information, visit astonhill100.com.
